Laura DePrado Awarded Continuing Education ScholarshipThe Tom Everett Memorial Scholarship for continuing education was presented to Laura DePrado on July 30, 2011 at Three Meadows Farm in Bedminster, New Jersey. This annual $500 scholarship was created to honor Mr. Everett’s personal and agricultural legacy, and his initiative and leadership. It seeks to recognize those individuals whose goals are synonymous with his. Mr. Everett was an innovative, successful farmer of his family’s land in Hillsborough, and became an agricultural leader in New Jersey.
Laura DePrado is pursuing a Horticultural Therapy Certificate at Rutgers University School of Biological and Environmental Sciences. She is a Master Gardener of Rutgers Cooperative Extension and owner of Final Touch Plantscaping, LLC.An entrepreneur and Rotarian, DePrado’s business is certified by governor Christie in the Women Business Enterprise. She is also a member of the New Jersey Small Business Development Council.
She resides in Branchburg, New Jersey with her husband of 17 years, Mike, and her two teenage children, John and Jenny.
